On a windy Wednesday afternoon in the Adelaide Hills, we brought together a talented team of individuals to shoot the promotional material for our impending launch. Mother Nature really turned it up a notch and produced one of the most stunning sunsets any of us had ever seen.
Our team consisted of two photographers, two videographers, four models, one hair and makeup artist, one jeweller, one wedding gown designer, and one mother of the wedding gown designer. Who doesn't need a loving Mum around for moral support?
With a makeshift dressing room atop a tennis court, our gorgeous models proceeded to slip into their outfits, all the while battling the fierce breeze. With two hours before sunset, the boys and girls split up with the photographers to capture their special moments. Little did we know to expect the most glorious sunset! We are not lying when we say there was a tear or two in our eyes. We had a five minute window to capture the colours of the sky and before we knew it, the shoot was complete.
The gorgeous dresses were designed and made by Taylor from Taylor Marie Designs. Taylor is an emerging Adelaide based fashion designer and has created a bridal collection called Sweet Expectations. She worked around the clock to perfect the look for our shoot and we were blown away with the end result.
Philippa from Philippa Worthington Hair & Makeup worked with our models in creating their flawless look. Philippa is passionate about helping women feel beautiful and confident on their special day.
Our photography team included industry stalwart Dan from Dan Evans Photography and newcomer Travis from Travis Cornish Photography. Dan's experience in the wedding industry is second to none, so we were very excited to have him and his creative vision on board for our shoot. Dan scouted the location and we really could not have found anywhere better! We also had the pleasure of working with Travis, whose talent, flair and professionalism blew us away. We are so pleased to have had the opportunity to work with such a great team.
David from David Vincent Rocca Prima Videography had the huge task at hand of creating the imagery that you see when you first visit our website, essentially, the face of Her Bride His Groom. We gave David full creative control and we couldn't be happier with the end result.
The girls' jewellery was provided by Gerard J Ryan, an Adelaide CBD based jeweller. Gerard allowed us full access to his range, deciding on the gorgeous pearls for Tess and diamonds for Alison.
We couldn't have asked for a better team of models! Alison, Tess, Marco and Nick were troopers, battling the wind and the rugged terrain. We are so happy to share their special moments with you.
With our first shoot complete, we can't stop thinking about concepts and ideas for more and more! Keep your eyes peeled for the next Her Bride His Groom instalment.
