We’re Live Photography – we’re Irena and Jan and when we decided to set off down the path of professional wedding photographers, we also decided we wanted to do wedding photography differently – to break rules and challenge conventions, take photos that are raw and honest and create portraiture that is intimate and sexy.

Our style is contemporary, edgy, creative and fashion inspired and we’ve been lucky to work with some pretty awesome clients – the renegades, revolutionaries and rule breakers of the wedding world. We have shot in forests, in the mountains, at beaches, in the bush, in the snow, at old warehouses and inside magnificent medieval churches. We have climbed trees, jumped in lakes, crawled through windows and under fences – sometimes us and sometimes our couples – to get those awesome epic shots. If we’re not shooting portraits, however, we try not to get in the way of the events that unfold naturally during a wedding day and to capture the organic flow, intimacy and emotions in an unobtrusive manner. At the end of the day, our aim is to capture and tell your unique story in a genuine way.

We’re currently based in Sydney, but we originally launched our business in Prague. We travel to Europe every year, and as often as possible all over Australia and other parts of the world, to shoot destination weddings. We are huge travel enthusiasts, road trippers, animal and nature lovers, art and architecture admirers and always and forever… photo opportunists/the perfect shot hunters.
