Over the last few weeks we have seen the marriage equality debate gain more and more media attention. It’s a shame to see our political leaders bickering over what could be such a simple, quick decision. A decision that could change the lives of so many people for the better. Her Bride His Groom will continue to support the Australian Marriage Equality organisation in any way that we can.
As I mentioned in my last post, the response we have received from our supporters since our launch has been absolutely amazing. The website continues to grow at a rapid rate and I am very excited for what the future holds for HBHG.
Over the last couple of weeks I have spent some time in the Gold Coast and Sydney meeting clients and potential partners, though I did manage to find some time to relax in the Gold Coast. We spent a lot of time hiking the hinterlands and walking the never ending beaches. While on a river cruise, we came across the most gorgeous little wedding chapel. The captain of the boat informed us that the venue was so popular, that another was built further down the river to accomodate for demand.
I was very excited to catch up with the gorgeous couple, Laura and Casey, who run successful wedding planning business Elle & Sea. You can check their profile out here. I love getting out and about talking to our clients, especially when travelling. While it’s easy to stay abreast of all the wedding talk in your own city, it’s great to get a sense of what is happening everywhere else. While I can’t say too much about my discussions in Sydney, I will say that we got the ball rolling on some very exciting plans
which I can’t wait to share with you.
This week sees another fantastic feature from Cindy, our resident food blogger! I hope you are all reading her blogs every fortnight. Cindy joins us with an absolute wealth of knowledge; if you haven’t started reading yet, I highly recommend that you go back and read her previous blogs. Her knowledge is so valuable!
With Love,
