What a night! On Tuesday this week I attended the 16th Annual South Australian ABIA Bridal Awards at the gorgeous Adelaide Town Hall. You could not have asked for a more perfect setting!

We loved mingling with current and hopeful future clients during pre dinner drinks and it was great to see so many familiar faces! The vibe this early on was absolutely fantastic and I could tell it was going to be an amazing night. This was my first ABIA Bridal Awards, and I am so happy to have had the opportunity to attend. I was taken by surprise when John from ABIA personally welcomed me during his welcome speech. I am so incredibly grateful for the support we are receiving from John and the wider ABIA community.

For those who don’t know, the Australian Bridal Industry Academy is the peak industry body representing the bridal industry in Australia. Each year, John and the ABIA team conduct statewide Awards, with the winners then going on to represent the best in the country.

We were so happy to see a number of our clients nominated as finalists, including Cindy’s Classic Gourmet, Heidelberg Cakes, Entertainment Adelaide, Grange Golf Club, Hotel Richmond, Photos Xposed, Gerard Ryan Jewellers and Serafino Winery. A big congratulations to Cindy’s Classic Gourmet, Heidelberg Cakes and Serafino Winery for winning in their categories!

The awards would not have been complete without a dance to the Nutbush, followed by some fun photos in the photo

booth. Before we knew it and after a few too many champagnes the night was over and we were in the Uber on the way home.

I can’t wait to work together with ABIA to continue the fight for marriage equality and build the Her Bride His Groom presence in the wedding industry.
