Look out New Zealand, we are headed your way! I am very excited to announce our expansion into the New Zealand wedding industry.

What does this mean for us Aussie’s you ask? It means greater access to quality, same-sex friendly wedding suppliers for our Australian friends who plan on visiting picturesque New Zeland for their marriage. As for the Kiwi’s, we are offering all aspects of our online resource to bridge the gap between gay and lesbian couples, and wedding suppliers.

Same-sex marriage became legal in New Zealand on the 19th of August in 2013. In the three years following this, 2118 same-sex marriages were registered in New Zealand with roughly 56% being female couples, and 44% being male couples. 25.6% of these numbers were Australian couples traveling to New Zealand.

We are now accepting submissions for New Zealand based wedding suppliers and vendors to get on board with our resource.

We will also be featuring a number of real weddings, features and guest bloggers from our neighbours.
